Terms of Use

Acceptance
Using the Bible 365 application implies full acceptance of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any of the points described here, you must refrain from using the application. This document regulates the relationship between the application and the user, establishing mutual rights and obligations.
Proper use of the service
The application must be used solely for personal, educational or instructional purposes, respecting its original intent. It is prohibited to manipulate, breach or modify the operation of the software or services to obtain undue advantages or alter the user experience. Where fraudulent or abusive activity is found, or activity contrary to these conditions, access may be suspended or cancelled temporarily or permanently. That decision is taken by a person reviewing the case, never automatically, and it can be appealed by writing to the contact address at the end of this document. You are responsible for your use of the application and for the content consulted or generated through it.
Fraudulent or abusive use includes, but is not limited to:
- Creating multiple accounts to obtain additional free credits.
- Manipulating or attempting to circumvent verification, authentication or usage control systems.
- Using automated tools such as bots or scripts to interact with the service.
- Sharing or reselling access to premium accounts.
- Performing reverse engineering, decompiling or modifying the application.
- Making an abnormally high volume of requests that may affect service availability for other users.
Features powered by artificial intelligence
The application includes functionality based on artificial intelligence provided by external services. The developer neither controls nor can modify the behaviour or results of these models.
Generated responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, outdated information or hallucinations — a technical term describing when an artificial intelligence model generates false information with the appearance of certainty. Generated content should not be interpreted as absolute truth or as advice of any kind.
These features are not intended for making medical, legal, financial, psychological or any other type of decisions. The information provided by the artificial intelligence is strictly for reference purposes only. Under no circumstances should it be relied upon or used as a basis for decision-making of any kind. You assume sole and exclusive responsibility for any actions taken or decisions made based on the generated content.
The application applies moderation and context measures but cannot guarantee that all responses will be appropriate, accurate or complete.
Service availability
The service may be interrupted due to maintenance, updates, technical failures or incidents in third-party services. Although efforts are made to offer maximum stability, uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
This application is developed and maintained independently, without the backing of a large team or company. You accept this reality upon installing the application and understand that incident resolution times, update frequency and service availability may be subject to the limitations inherent in individual development. This does not exempt the developer from the commitment to offering the best possible service within their capabilities.
To ensure equitable use, technical limits are applied to certain functions, for example the number of queries to the assistant. These limits are broad for normal use but necessary to prevent abuse.
Anonymous tracking
The application collects usage statistics anonymously for technical purposes: to improve the service, detect errors and optimise the user experience. This data never allows personal identification.
Subscriptions and payments
All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of their period unless you cancel them. Renewal may be weekly, monthly or annual, depending on the type of subscription purchased.
Cancellation responsibility. You are solely responsible for cancelling your active subscription at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation must be performed through the App Store, following Apple’s instructions.
Subscription management. The application does not directly manage payments or renewals. The entire process of purchase, renewal and cancellation is carried out through your App Store account. Once the purchase is confirmed, the charge is applied to the App Store account associated with you. Refund requests must be managed directly with Apple, in accordance with their return policies; the application cannot intervene in this process. If a free trial period is offered, it converts automatically into a paid subscription upon completion unless you cancel it in advance.
Use after cancellation. You may continue to enjoy premium features until the end of the period already paid for, even if the renewal is cancelled.
Subscription prices may vary by region or App Store policies. The application does not control these prices directly.
Offline subscription verification. To prevent fraud and ensure legitimate use of the service, the application requires periodic verification of premium subscription status even when used without an Internet connection.
- Premium users may use the application’s features in airplane mode or offline for a reasonable period of time.
- After this period, the application will ask you to connect to the Internet momentarily to verify your subscription status.
- This verification is automatic, brief and does not interrupt normal use of the application.
- Once verification is complete, you may use the application offline again for another reasonable period.
- This mechanism is necessary to prevent fraudulent use of premium accounts by permanently disabling the Internet connection.
Account deletion and subscriptions. If you cancel your subscription or request a refund, you will still be able to use the premium features until the end of the period already paid for. If you delete your account from the application, you will lose immediate access to all features, including premium ones, even if the subscription remains active in the App Store. The user identifier (hash) will remain in the system indefinitely for security reasons, as explained in the Privacy Policy. You must cancel the subscription manually in the App Store to avoid future charges: the application cannot cancel subscriptions automatically.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated at any time to adapt to legal, technical or functional changes. You are responsible for reviewing this section periodically and checking the last update date.
Images and visual content
The application uses images provided by the following sources:
- Unsplash API. Background images provided by photographers and content creators.
- Google Gemini (Google AI). Images generated through artificial intelligence to illustrate stories and application content.
- Other artificial intelligence tools. In some cases, other tools are used to generate visual content.
All visual content is for purely illustrative and decorative purposes. Images generated through artificial intelligence do not represent real people, verifiable historical facts or documented events; should not be interpreted as faithful representations of reality; have the sole purpose of making the experience more attractive and enjoyable; and may contain artistic, stylistic or creative elements that do not correspond with historical or biblical accuracy.
Intellectual property. Rights to the images belong to their respective creators or providers, such as Unsplash or Google. In the case of images generated by Google Gemini, Google is responsible for the creation, generation and disclosure of those images. Bible 365 assumes no responsibility for similarities, resemblances or coincidences with other works, persons, places or pre-existing content. Any claim related to copyright, intellectual property or similarities to other works must be directed to the corresponding provider, not to the application.
The application acts solely as an end user of the image generation services provided by third parties. It does not control, verify or validate the content generated by these tools beyond its suitability for the illustrative purpose of the application.
Account and data deletion
You may delete your account at any time from the application settings. When you do:
Deleted immediately
- Your user account in Firebase Authentication, meaning email and credentials.
- Access to the application’s features, both free and premium.
Not deleted automatically
- iCloud data. Notes, bookmarks and preferences stored in iCloud remain in your iCloud account. You must delete them manually from your iCloud settings if you wish to remove them.
- Security identifier. The system retains a technical identifier (hash) permanently for security and fraud prevention reasons, as explained in the Privacy Policy. This identifier does not allow personal identification.
Active subscriptions. Deleting your account does NOT automatically cancel active subscriptions in the App Store. You are responsible for cancelling the subscription manually from your App Store account to avoid future charges. No refunds are processed for voluntary account deletion.
If you log in again with the same Apple ID, the system will recognise you and you will retain the free credit status you had when deleting the account. If your account was blocked for fraud or abuse, the block will remain active and you will not be able to use the application.
Deletion of the Firebase account is irreversible. iCloud data can only be recovered if you did not delete it manually.
How the stories are written
The stories and accounts included in the application have been prepared based on the Scriptures. To make reading more attractive and enjoyable, the texts have been adapted and dramatised using narrative resources that seek to bring the experience closer to the reader, in a manner similar to the treatment historical accounts receive in a film or series.
In this process, technological support tools have been used, including artificial intelligence, always under human supervision and review. The objective is not to replace biblical content but to accompany it with a more fluid and entertaining narrative style, respecting its essence while incorporating descriptions or nuances that allow the reader to enjoy a more immersive experience.
The content should not be understood as a scientific or academic document, but as a narrative and educational representation that combines fidelity to the sources with a literary and informative approach.
Despite constant review, the accounts may contain errors, inaccuracies or dramatised expressions. These should not be interpreted as a personal, doctrinal or religious attack on you or your beliefs. You may report any possible error or discrepancy through the application settings; once the observation has been reviewed and confirmed as an error, it will be corrected in future updates.
Licence agreement and legal terms
These Terms of Use regulate the specific use of the Bible 365 application. For all matters relating to warranties, limitation of liability, legal compliance, export and applicable law, the standard Apple End User License Agreement is incorporated by reference.
